Loved some of these Bulgarian traditions! Capturing Katie and Plamen's wedding was like stepping overseas to Bulgaria - love carried over the ocean - back in time.

Katie nervously waits for her groom - for this unique first look!

The money was then stashed in the brides shoe - if the shoe fits there's not enough cash! Katie went for $28 - MOH Emmy would have charged more.. but Plamen and his crew snuck inside!

Mother and grandmother of the groom danced away to the Bulgarian band celebrating their new daughter.

The Band played away threw lunch as the wedding party put on a few finishing touches.

The Bride and Groom exchanged their wedding gifts. Celerating their love for travel - and culture. Plamen proposed to Katie in Paris, France - and Katie adoringly played up his proposal with these wedding gifts, "To discovering the world together." Plamen celebrated his bulgarian culture - and their wedding with a Bulgarian Folk tales book.

A loving moment shared between the bride and groom during lunch and hospitality from the brides family.

The first of many dances of the evening! As the band played the wedding party, family and friends joined hand in hand circling around the musicians.

One last photograph of the band before we headed to Seminary park for wedding party photographs in Chicago, IL.

Bulgarian music played in the car - some not appropriate for 3 year olds like young Dekota to hear.

Beautiful warm wedding photography expressions captured at Seminary Park.

These Seminary wedding photographs were inspired by Katie and Plamens adoring and loving relationship.

These seminary wedding photographs were inspired by architecture, color and drama!

A walk in the park with your best friend.

Jennifer Peterson-Vehrs - Stunning! These photos capture the beauty and the amazing love that Plamen and Katelyn have for each other. Also how much fun the wedding was. I'm so thrilled that I was able to be there on their special day.
